Alarm was raised for more than 200 rescuers from the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (GIES) of the MIA this morning.
IGSU Employees in Detachment Search Rescue No. 1 and No. 2 from the Chisinau and Balti municipalities participated in the battle to demonstrate the capacities for intervention in extraordinary situations.
Verification of the staff was made at the direction of the Emergency Situations Service to indicate the state of training of rescuers, tools and equipment.
Totally, from two subdivisions, they've verified 80 units of equipment used for the decommissioning, fire interventions, debris decommissioning, as well as heavy-duty vehicles used in difficult winter conditions.
Moreover, the staff presented the combat equipment, and the state of training under extreme conditions
The GIES of the MIA carries out such tests twice a year to know the level of intervention in the most difficult exceptional situations.
A similar check took place last week in the south of the country, where more than 150 firefighters and rescuers from the Comrat, Cantemir and Cahul districts were tested.
