Swimmer Ion Lazarenco will be internationally promoted to inform the society of his accomplishments, the peace and unity messages promoted by swimming. The statement was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip at today's Government meeting.

"Today we have a special meeting because we have a special guest and I have a lot to do with Mr. Ion Lazarenco and the one who has several titles: Man of the year 2018 declared by the World Swimming Association and many more. swim across the seven straits, one of the eight people in the world who went over these straits, but more is the first to do that.

I am proud of this man, even though he has gone to Ireland for more than 20 years, he has done these things as a citizen of the Republic of Moldova. And it has always been wrapped in the flag of the Republic of Moldova.

This may be a lesson of patriotism for all of us. We have lately started complaining, but he has proven as I see the Republic of Moldova. If it is will, if it is courage and mobilization, results are achieved. The most that impressed me like all my colleagues.

We made a decision and Mr. Lazarenco was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize from the Republic of Moldova, and this has already been recorded and we will today approve an approval plan for Mr. Lazarenco.

To beat an ocean can not be a kilometer or 20 kilometers, you win it when you get to the shore, then it is officially considered that you have defeated, so we can say with a Government, we can not say that we have defeated today and will not continue. means we do not have to go on. Being easy behind a computer or a phone and judging, it's harder to breathe tomorrow and make an impact.

I will not get tired of saying that, because when I started climbing the mountain I met many ill-treatment, many threats, I had moments when I had to borrow money and make many sacrifices. But because I believed in my dream, in my message, that we believed in us, and if I did not think I was doing what I did. I do not sacrifice my soul, my health, my family and everything that surrounds me. We can do many beautiful things if we make them out of our hearts. We can do like no one could afford to come home to us and clean us, as we do not allow anyone to come home to clean us up in the garden, so no one has to come to make it clean in our country.

Regarding the Nobel Prize, I want to say that I was excited, because in the last ten years I knocked on a lot of doors but I continued to stop knocking and continuing to do what I do. I think I did absolutely everything and what I intended to do. I will continue to do because I owe my children, my parents, my ancestors and my country. Most are due to the earth, because we are passing on the face of the earth and leave behind only a trace, and what we leave is identified, and the houses and possessions do not remain in history at all.

I am sure that children who have recently gone to school need this, they need education, they need inspiration, they need to show them we care because they will be what we are now.

Ion Lazarenco has been declared "Best Swimmer of Ireland" for three consecutive years, becoming the first person on the globe to cross the seven straits in the first attempt.

In 2018, the athlete was named "Man of the Year" by the World of Swimming Pool. Nobil Prize laureates will be announced in December this year.
