A 20-year-old man was detained on the streets from the Capital on suspicion on having stolen a Honda CRV car, parked on the territory of an Automobile repair shop.

The car's owner was the one to call the police. Therefore, after investigating, the car was found abandoned near an apartment block from Dacia boulevard, Botanica sector.

The suspect was working at the Automobile repair shop where the car was parked. He confessed to the actions and declared that he took the car for a ride.

The man was arrested for 72 hours and risks a 11 600 to 27 000 lei fine, or 1 to 3 years of imprisonment.
