Energy efficiency project worth 150.000 USD to be implemented in Moldova
Over 70% of the energy sources of our country are imported. This thing make the authorities search solutions to encourage this field. The Agency for Energy Efficiency and the United Nations Organizations for Industry Development launched a new project funded by 150 thousand USD for 15 persons who will come with ideas in this field.
Erik Parsons is from Australia. He lives in Moldova for 14 years already. The man says that he will come up with an idea in this field.
"We are working on a cooling system. I think it will be an interesting project", mentioned Erik Parsons, Capital resident.
In September, the best five projects will be chosen and then will be awarded by 10 thousand USD. The project will take three years and 15 start ups will be selected.
"Along a period of three years, we will implement three pilot projects in agriculture, transports field", said Nicolae Soloviov, project manager.
"We are waiting for good and positive results", said Nicolae Magdil, adviser at the ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
The persons who were chosen to win will be trained.
