Energy Regulator TO PUBLICLY DEBATE legality of retailers' fuel price rise
Moldova’s Energy regulator (ANRE) will debate on the recent price hike of fuels undertaken by several retailers.
ANRE will see if it was legal to raise the gasoline and diesel fuel prices. The regulator is also to set a limit for the price of a liter of fuel, at its coming public session.
Earlier, prime-minister Pavel Filip asked ANRE to hold a public hearing on the issue. Fuel retailers and NGO experts have been invited to attend the sitting.
The fuel went up last week: the liter of gasoline with 0.60 lei and the diesel oil with 1.10 Moldovan lei.
