A businessmen from Bălţi decided to cut a boy's hair and write on his forehead "I'm a thief", for trespassing on his company's territory.

 In an attempt to make the child pay for his action, the man called the police, but was detained himself.

The incident took place a month ago, on the territory of a polystyrene manufacturing company from Bălţi.

The 9-year-old child was playing with two of his friends at the time.

"Most likely they managed to access the company's territory through this hole. The children were playing near an old car, when they were seen by the entrepreneur. While two kids managed to get away, the third one was caught by the hostile man" Viorica Postolachi, correspondent from PUBLIKA TV declared.

According to the police, the man though that the child stole something from the company and as such, decided to punish him by cutting his hair with an old and rusty pair of scissor and write on his forehead "I'm a thief".

"Despite denying his actions and claiming he merely caught the kid to give him to the police, the child was scared, obviously from being hit by the man" attorney Rodica Buză said.

Psychologists believe that this incident might leave grave damage in the future for the child.

"The child might loose his confidence, become more anti-social " Elena Andreeva, psychologist from the academic high school "Maxim Gorkii", believes.

The 44-year-old businessman is currently placed into custody. He is investigated for illegal detainment of a minor and risks to spend the next seven years behind bars.
