A pharmacist and a doctor from the Capital were detained on Friday night, being suspected on drugs selling.

The information was confirmed by Ion Turcan, the chief of the Antidrug Direction of IGP.

According to him, the drug costumers were asking the drugs after a prescription given by the doctor.

"At the pharmacy, a blister of these drugs costs 30 lei, but the pharmacist was selling it on a 300-350 price. Within the searches, there were found blisters that contained psychotropic pills. Many recipes with the stamp and the signature of the family doctor."

According to the investigation, the pharmacist was selling the drugs according to a check. Specifically, there were sold only pills that can be sold only according to the prescription.

The scheme works for more than a year. Weakly, the suspects were selling drugs worth 5 000 lei.

The investigators  will establish the quantity of drugs that was sold and the amount of money the suspects received from the illegal affair. The women were preventive arrested for 30 days. If found guilty, they risk up to 15 years in prison.
