EU awaits Moldova's request to set up air medical assistance service
Pavel Filip and Henrik Hololei, Director-General for Mobility and Transport have discussed today about modernizing Moldovan roads and adjusting Moldova’s legislation to EU standards.
The premier has spoken about the roadmap priorities and the key issues in implementing the Association Agreement with the EU.
“After signing the agreement on the common Air Space, there’s been an increase in the number of plane tickets sold and a decrease in price. This is beneficial for our economy, as it boosts the development of neighboring branches and is to the citizens’ gain,” the premier said.
Henrik Hololei has highlighted the need to develop the air traveling and the importance of keeping the independence and of the high level of professionalism within the Moldovan Aeronautic Authority, mentioning the key accomplishments in the field.
In director Henrik Hololei’s opinion, the cooperation between Moldova and the EU in the area may be considered a successful story.
The two officials have also broached the Government’s initiative to create an air medical assistance service as is SMURD in Romania.
Henrik Hololei has greeted the initiative, encouraging an official request to be sent in this regard, as the Commission will identify the best practices to make this service function in Moldova.
