EU supports Moldova in improving efficiency and quality of justice
An expert from France visited Moldova this week to discuss court management in his home country and the tools developed by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ).
The event was organised by the EU-Council of Europe Programmatic Cooperation Framework (EU/CoE PCF) for leaders and trainers from the Justice Academy of Azerbaijan as well as the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova interested to discuss training needs and ways to develop and introduce courses on efficient court management in their respective countries, Azernews reports.
According to the EU/CoE PCF, the judicial training institutions from Azerbaijan and Moldova represented at the event are committed to implementing training courses on judicial management for judges and court staff by the end of 2016, as part of the efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of justice as a public service in these two countries.
