Eugen Bodarev, future deputy announces DEPARTURE from PLDM party and ADHERANCE to the European People's Group
Eugen Bodarev, who will be deputy in the Parliament after Alexandru Barbarosie will resign, announces the departure of thew the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova and will become the newest member of the Parliamentary group - Group of the European People.
"Today I decided to withdraw from the PLDM. This choice comes from discussions with several colleagues, and President of the PPEM, and I consider it appropriate that when I become official member of the Moldovan Parliament I will give up the parliamentary group of PLDM and will operate within the European parliamentary group.
My ties with the PLDM party has weakened for some time already, and I personally believe that this party has exhausted its political message and lost most connections with the electorate. The PLDM is stuck in an imaginative opposition, which is indirectly with the forces of anti - European.
I believe we need a revival of right-wing and pro-European message, to the expectations of many Moldovans, and that European parliamentary group is ready and can be very good in the years to come" , said Bodarev.
Eugen Bodarev would arrive in Parliament on the lists of the Liberal Democratic Party after Alexandru Barbarosie announced his departure.
