European Commissioner Johannes Hahn supports Republic of Moldova's European track
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has met today with European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, at Munich Security Conference.
The officials spoke of Republic of Moldova's reform agenda, as well as fulfilling the terms required for EU macro-financial assistance. Prime Minister Pavel Filip has evoked the determination of the authorities to maintain the high rate of implementation of the terms established with EU, taking upon himself to speed up the process due to the elections from this year.
Among the main reforms was highlighted the one from justice system, implementing new laws regarding money laundering and entry into force of laws regarding NGOs. Prime Minister has stated that those examples show the authorities' determination to advance on the European integration track.
Pavel Filip has also emphasized on Republic of Moldova's obligation to realize all aims established at the Eastern Partnership Summit from November 2017, based on our country's strategic priorities.
Johannes Hahn appreciated the progress and the Government's determination to continue implementing the reforms, mentioning EU's support to accomplish the Association Agreement.
