European Council-Republic of Moldova exhibition launched in Chisinau
The European Council was and it continues to be a trustful partner for the Republic of Moldova and it is the main factor that guarantees the democracy on the European continent. The declaration was made by Tatiana Molcean, state secretary at the opening of "European Council - Republic of Moldova: realization and priorities", dedicated the the 23th anniversary of the Republic of Moldova adheration to the European Council, organized by MAEIE in partnership with the Pro-European Center of the National Republic of Moldova Biblioteque.
Tatiana Molcean highlighted that the Republic of Moldova is among the 92 member countries of the European Council, that manages the majority of the spheres, such as: fighting against torture, defending human rights, fight against corruption and money laundering, fighting against human trafficking, data safety and so on.
The State Secretary also mentioned that the document of politics on the Actions Plants of CoE for the Republic of Moldova (2017-2020) is the third document of such kind and of the cooperation programs, dedicated to the reforms that target to develop the Governance process in all the countries." It includes program of fighting against corruption, money laundering, the freedom of the press, measures to solve the transnistrean conflict and so on", said Tatiana Molcean.
The European Council is an unique platform that provides the dialogue between the parliaments, the representatives of the Governemnts, civil society and young.
