Republic of Moldova has qualified last evening in the grand finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Doredos, who represented Moldova with the song "My Lucky Day", managed to gain the necessary amount of points to advance in the competition. Half of the necessary votes were offered by the jury, while the other half by TV spectators.

Along Moldova in the finals will participate Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Slovenia and Netherlands.

Both Romania and Russia failed to qualify for the next round. The first semi-final took place on May 8.

The Grand Finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will take place on May 12.
