Everything is stealing. More than 100 sewage caps have disappeared from the streets of Capital
Everything is stealing. In just two weeks, over 70 channels of canals and 30 sewage caps disappeared from the streets of the capital. Most were stolen from the Ciocana sector. Because of this, the Exdrupo Municipal Enterprise has to spend extra money on new ones.
Most of the time, stolen things are sold to scrap collectors. According to the police, they should not accept such objects.
The channels of channels to be put in place of the stolen ones are made to order and their price varies between 1,200 and 1,500 lei.
"Caps are cheaper, but still around 1 000 lei one. How long does it take for three to five days we have to either set the indicator or signal this area, otherwise there may be accidents or something worse. When out of a whole street were removed", said Adrian Boldurescu, director of Exdrupo.
Indignants are also the drivers, who ruin their cars in the open sewers.
"There is a closed hole, but a bigger one next to them." I fell and I saw that the oil was running, it ruined everything, you could leave half a car there".
"I have seen that they are missing and covered with something of reinforced concrete. The educated world should not steal them."
In the absence of caps, garbage and dry leaves are collected in the sewage system.
"There are different types of garbage or cloth and it clogs the entire sewer system, which makes it harder to work, clean and maintain the networks. We have addressed the police, the competent bodies remain to take action," said Adrian Costin , engineer at Exdrupo.
The damage in this case is about 300,000 lei. There are over 4,000 storm sewers in the capital.
