Exclusive event for amateurs of martial arts from Moldova! The National Championships of Muay Thai started at Chisinau. 185 fighters from 17 clubs share punches and legs to climb the prize podium. Competitions take place in all age categories: children, cadets, juniors and seniors.

"I've been training intensively, I've been training every day and the coach has motivated me. It's a very important competition for all the participants to go to the World Championship".

In addition to amateur fighters, some professional athletes who have already fought K-1 rules will join the ring. 

These are Marin Vetrilă, Radu Copăceanu and Nicolae Caraus. 

"Every time I want to show a beautiful fight, to enjoy the spectators. Of course, here is the emphasis on fighting in clinics, using knees, elbows, it's a little different." 

According to the final results of this competition will be formed the national lot, which will represent the Republic of Moldova at the World Senior Championships in Thailand and the juniors in Turkey.

"From year to year the level of athletes is rising. We can see it by the results of the fighters at international competitions." 

"We have a very young generation, many young people are 18 years of age and will participate in the competition of seniors. We are going to develop the muay thai federation in the world, talking about the recognition and participation in the following Olympics".
