Experts criticize PSRM-ACUM's decision: CEC and National Bank should not be politicized
The Central Elections Commission should not be politically biased. Also, when firing some members of this commission, it should take place according to serious reasons. This opinion belongs to the yesterday guests of Fabrika talk show.
"All the public workers will be yearly checked. In case they don't pass the test, or it proves they are not competent enough, they will be fired", mentioned Pavel Postica, program director at Promo-LEX.
What happens now is against the promises that ACUM made.
"The members of the actual Parliament and Government are acting together. Moreover, I think that the laws can be adopted in half of an hour. In case they can not dismiss somebody, they change the law instantly", said Roman Chirca, the director of Market Economy Institute.
According to the experts, in CEC case, the ones who will be named in office should be familiarized with all the procedures of resignation.
"They should offer information regarding the resignation process and its reasons", said Pavel Postica.
Roman Chirca criticized the decisions of PSRM-ACUM to simplify the dismissal of the Surveillance Council of the National Bank. According to him, the National Bank is monitored by the foreign partners and the politicians should not take the control over it.
"I have such an impression that ACUM - PSRM alliance is only a stage of implementing illegal things. Any attempt of taking the control over the National Bank will be harshly punished", said Roman Chirca.
