Moldovan products are increasingly demanded abroad. Last year, the volume of exports increased by almost 12% in comparison with 2017. The data of the National Statistics Bureau shows that more and more goods are exported on the European Union market.
There was an increase of over 16%, in comparison with 2017. In cash, it is almost two billion USD and accounts for 68% of the total exports. In contrast, deliveries to CSI countries dropped by more than 10% and are worth 416 million USD.
Totally, in 2018, goods amounted to 2.7 billion USD have been exported. Most were national products - worth 1.8 billion USD.
The rest, about 900 million USD, were re-exports of foreign goods.
Last year, outside the country, several chemicals, machines and electrical items, wooden articles, and live animals were marketed.
