Fabrika analysts: European Union does not want early elections in Moldova
European Union does not want early elections in Moldova. And the visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn in Moldova is a good sign for our country. This is the opinion of the guests of talk-show Fabrika on 26 September 2016.
The analysts say that the European Union is not disinterested in the way Moldova will implement the draft plan, and our duty is to answer to his trust.
“I give a warning to all electoral competitors, to all heads of parties, do not play with fire. It is the first time, I believe, when a high European official says clearly: we do not advocate the early elections” declared the former deputy president of Parliament, Mihai Camerzan.
“For European Union is important that the Association Agreement to be implemented and obviously those who are responsible in the EU try to control us through visits, to encourage to go as consequently on this way” declared political commentator, Victor Doras.
The experts have the opinion that the European Union wants to help us, and Moldovan politicians have to do their homework.
“From the title of the position of the commissioner, it is clear that it is about the enlargement of European Union. We can interpret that if we do, if Moldova does its homework, if Moldovan politicians will fulfill the list of objectives, that draft plan, it might happen that we can truly be taken into account in a future enlargement” declared the journalist Victor Nichitus.
“The most important what was delivered by Mr. Hahn is the fact that we will help you to avoid early elections. That means a signal that in case you will take the responsibility for a serious reform, structurally, in case you will sign an agreement with IMF and will unblock the financing, when you will fight the basic calamity, the fight against corruption, we will be beside you and will finance this processes” said the political analyst, Victor Gurau.
On Monday, 26 September 2016, the European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn has a visit in Moldova. The official met the prime minister Pavel Filip and the head of Parliament Andrian Candu. The European official appreciated the significant progresses registered by Moldova, especially the stabilization of political situation.
Johannes Hahn declared himself satisfied that Moldova has advanced in the discussions with IMF and that in October 2016 we will sign a new financing agreement.
