Farmers welcomed to obtain grant of 350 thousand dollars

Farmers can obtain grants sorting, washing, calibrating and packing lines, driers and refrigeration equipment. The total amount of non-reimbursable fund amounts to 350 thousand dollars. The money will be allocated through the investment grant program between the Republic of Moldova and the World Bank.
In order to benefit from grants, farmers must form groups of at least five members who work in the horticulture sector for more than three years and allocate half of the cost. Dossiers must be filed at the territorial offices of the Agency for Intervention and Agriculture Payments by 1 November.
The grant program was launched in 2014. So far, 161 farmers have benefited from $ 7.5 million. They, in turn, have invested $ 8.6 million.
