Festival held in Chisinau. Dozens of artists organized a folk costumes parade
35 folk ensembles from Romania, Ukraine and Moldova participated in the "Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt" Festival, which lasts for three days in Chisinau.
Having dressed in folk costumes, artists have organized a parade of the popular harbor on the city's streets.
With music and dances, participants have walked on Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt boulevard.
People have crossed hundreds of kilometers to be able to proudly display the traditional costumes that were worn back in the days in their regions.
"We came from Mureş, Ibăneşti Commune, Romania. We came to be here today with you and present our traditions."
"We came from Ukraine, Cernăuţi. Let us protect our traditions."
People from the Capital remained impressed.
"It is very beautiful, a tradition that recently appeared."
"This is amazing. Traditions must be kept."
In the public garden, a concert was also held.
"The folk ensemble "Opicuţele", from Cimişlia, Nou village."
The event is organized by the European Cultural Center "Dacia", with the support of Chisinau City Hall.

The festival has reached its 5th edition and will last to July 2.
