FIFA ranking: Moldova jumps one step
Moldova climbed a position in the FIFA ranking for August. The national team trained by Igor Dobrovolschi is on the 165th position and is lower than the national squads of Papa New Guinee, Gambia, Yemen, New Caledonia, Singapore or Myanmar.
Instead Moldova are better placed than Belize, Malaysia, Suriname or Guam.
Wales is the best ranked in the preliminary D group for the World Championship of 2018, 11th position. Moldova’s team is going to meet them on September 5th.
In the same group, Austria is the 22nd, Ireland – 31st, Serbia – 47th, and Georgia – 118th.
