Prime Minister Pavel Filip came up with some explanations regarding the speculation about the wage law. In this context, the Head of the Executive has reiterated, at the beginning of the Government meeting, that no person will receive a lower salary than he/she had in the past.

"It's an electoral campaign and it's getting worse, people have talked to people, but I've seen speculation about the new wage law, which is a good and unprecedented one, in the media. There are thousands of people who benefit from increases, raising double salaries, triple, some of them less, but increased.

No person will receive a lower salary than he has received so far. There are complaints that lower salaries have been raised. I want to suggest to everyone to address to accountants, business executives, those who have not correctly calculated the average salary for the past year and have not paid them this compensation to reach the level of a salary not lower than the average received last year", said the Prime Minister.

At the same time, Prime Minister Filip said that all the differences will be paid to the employees, and the accountants have to eliminate these problems.

"Maybe some make special speculation, but this is the approach and we are going to do our best to once again give all the financial directions to the accountants to calculate correctly. Those who have not yet managed to make those calculations must honestly tell employees that they have not yet managed to do so and that this difference will be paid to employees. I understand that the implementation of the law is not a simple one.
