Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a meeting with his counterpart from Romania, Mihai Tudose, on a visit to Chisinau. At the meeting, the Chief Executive of Chişinău thanked the Romanian Prime Minister for his precious support. 

"This talks about Romania's attitude towards the Republic of Moldova, but also about the special relationship that Moldova has with Romania"

"It is not just a bilateral relationship between neighboring states, it is also a deep relationship because we speak the same language, we have the same culture and the same history".

 "Although it is the first meeting as prime ministers, we have managed to have an open, sincere and friendly dialogue. And after this visit we have a lot of joint projects to continue further on", emphasized Pavel Filip.

Likewise, the prime minister said that "despite some strong statements made by few Chisinau officials, Moldova knows who they are their true friends, knows its true path, that's the road towards Europe".
