Filip on court's decision to not validate Andrei Năstase's mandate: This is the last thing the Government wished for
The decision taken by Chisinau court to not validate the mandate of Andrei Năstase is the last thing the Government wished for. Moreover, this decision rises many question marks, especially because it came at a time when more success has been anticipated both internally and externally. The declaration was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, during the Government's meeting.
According to Filip, the court's decision created speculations against the government.
"This is a decision that I believe confused the people. I believe this decision to rise many questions. Speculations appear that are definitely or not in the Government's favor. I try to understand who will benefit from such a decision, since we, as the Government, will only lose from such a situation.
Even more interesting is that it all happens at a time when more successes were expected both internally and externally. When I speak of more success I namely speak of politics, important decision that must be taken in the following days and are related to the international dimension, but also to the financial dimension and are large amounts.
For the Government, that has only half a year left until its mandate expires, this is the last thing we wished for. At the end of the year, general elections will take place. I hope that light will be shed on this situation as soon as possible and the public will benefit from complete and transparent information tied to this subject" PM Pavel Filip said.
