Flames burst in the school canteen from Cucuruzeni village, Orhei district. Firefighters were dispatched on sight to extinguish the flames.

According to the information, the canteen was recently renovated, while the building was being warmed by a device made out of wood. Eyewitnesses claimed that they heard an explosion.

Luckily nobody was hurt.

The case is being investigated to establish all circumstances.

The school from Cucuruzeni village is attended by 140 pupils.
