First House 3. Curtis family benefited of 100% discount to the program
19 families and their children have already benefit of First House 3 project. 45 families managed to apply to the program. The majority, 22 have two children and the state will cover 25% of the program's cost.
Curtis family has five children. The state covers 100% of the flat's cost.
The members of the family were living to their relatives previously. They say that the First House 3 project was their only chance to have their own house.
The family has bought a four rooms flat in the Capital. The state offers them over three thousand lei monthly.
"I am very glad. I feel safe and I know that my children have a place to live in", said Marina Curtis, beneficiary of the program.
The children are amazed of the flat:
"I am thinking how to arrange everything in my room."
"I like it very much, because I wanted to have our own house. The apartment is great."
The representatives of the Ministry of Finances say that this week 32 requests to the First House 3 projects have been applied. They have already approved subventions worth over 90 million lei for 23 families.
"On an average, we tell them the result in two-three days. We have five days to process the request. The beneficiaries receive the money on their bank account", said Nicoleta Codrean, main specialist at the Ministry of Finances.
Since the program was launched, 300 loans have already been offered. The loans are offered to the persons aged till 45 and the cost of the flat should not exceed one million lei.
The beneficiaries pay the interest rate worth 10%.
Then, Pavel Filip announced that they will extend the project by offering subventions worth 50% of the program's cost.
The First House 3 project is for large families. The state pays 10% of the flat's cost if the family has one child, 25% for the families with two children, 50% with the ones with three children and 100% for the ones with 4 or more.
