"We approached a local bank and asked how we can take a mortgage loan. They told us about the First House project. We decided that it is easier and more convenient in the long run" Sergiu Doicu said.

The family has two children, of 5 and 8 years old, while the fact that the family moved to Cahul will bring many opportunities.

"It is more comfortable because schools, kindergartens are closer. Many schools offer extracurricular activities" Natalia Doicu said.

Doicu spouses are also the first beneficiaries from Cahul. At the same time, another family waits to receive the state's guarantee.

"There are more requests now, more consultations and a part of the beneficiaries have already taken a loan. Many search convenient apartments and houses" chairman of the bank from Cahul, Zaharia Groza said.

To this point, over 120 families from Moldova purchased their first home, using the First House project, launched by Prime Minister Pavel Filip. All people under 45, with an official employment and have no other mortgage loans are eligible.
