It costs between 10 000 and 25 000 euros to regain the Romanian citizenship. This tax was established by the representatives of some companies that were offering judicial information. According to some information, the suspects said that they have influence on many consulates from Moscow, Odessa, Romania and the National Authorities for Citizenship.
Starting 2013, the suspects were taking sums between 1 500 and 2 000 euros for taking the oath and between 10 000 and 25 000 euros for preparing the folder, translations, notarial legalization and taking the passport.
After the investigation at the offices and houses of these companies, the anti-corruption prosecutors found IDs of the Republic of Moldova citizens and the Russian Federation, cell-phones and money.
The five were detained.
If found guilty, the risk a fine between 4 000 and 6 000 conventional units of between 3 and 7 years behind bars.
