Five men, aged between 26 and 32 years old, from Găgăuzia and Comrat, were arrested by law enforcement for robbing three houses from Chisinau, causing the owners a damage of around 1 500 000 lei.

According to the police, the suspects would break in through the window during the night, when the owners were away, stealing everything they could find (money, jewelry, phones).

After searching their houses, officers managed to find part of the stolen goods. The suspects now risk a 7 to 12 year sentence.

The arrest took place in Beșghioz village, Comrat, with the help of Special Forces Battalion “Fulger”.
