Flames rise from crashed aircraft in Kashmir

Flames rose from the wreckage of a crashed aircraft on Wednesday in Budgam in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Pakistan's military says its air force shot down two Indian warplanes after they crossed the boundary between the two nuclear-armed rivals in the disputed territory of Kashmir on Wednesday.
Pakistan's military's spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor said one of the downed planes crashed in Pakistan's part of Kashmir while the other went down in Indian-controlled section of the Himalayan region.
A Indian air force spokesman in New Delhi said he had no information on Pakistan's statement.
Tensions remain high on the Asian Subcontinent where tens of thousands of Indian and Pakistani soldiers face off along the Kashmir boundary.
