Floresti teachers request support of Parliament Speaker for modernization of educational process

The modernization projects and the improvement of the quality of the pre-university education were discussed at the meeting of the Andrian Candu Parliament Speaker with the Floresti District teachers. Discussions with teachers and students took place at the Miron Costin Theoretical High School, the largest educational institution in the district.
The President of Parliament announced that a new law on salaries for teachers is currently being finalized and soon will be presented for public consultations. The new law will ensure salary increases for teachers from the end of this year or early next year.
Teachers have asked several questions to the Speaker of the Parliament, asking for involvement in resolving existing problems and coming up with a number of proposals.

The speaker referred to the construction of the multifunctional complex Chisinau Arena, launched yesterday, and will become the first multi-purpose country in the country according to the criteria of the international federations for in-door sports.
Nowadays, a new sports school is being built in Floresti, which will provide better conditions for training, which will enhance the performances of the athletes. The institution will be able to host national and international competitions. To realize the project, 5.7 million lei were allocated from the state budget. The school would be commissioned in May 2019.
According to the director of the Floreşti sports school, Raisa Bogdan, although the institution has only two small halls for training, the young people who train here have won numerous awards at national and international competitions. More than 500 athletes are currently taking part in the Floresti sports school for artistic gymnastics, Greek-Roman fights, judo, football, volleyball, weightlifting and chess.
