A former forward from Sheriff Tiraspol and Moldova’s national squad, Ruslan Barburoş, has died aged 38.

He was found dead in his apartment in Chisinau, after she did not answer calls.

Barburoş was training a beach football team called Djoker.

In 2001 and 2002, he was the best goal-getter in the National Division.

Barburoş played thrice for the National team and scored once.
