Former Mayor of Sângera presumably shot! Family does not believe in his suicide
The family of the former mayor of Sângera, who was shot at the end of last month, does not believe that he could have committed suicide.
In a report by journalists from Ziarul de Garda, the mayor's sons state that their father could not resort to such a gesture and say there are several details that raise questions.
They do not exclude the version that their father was shot.
Mihail Lari's sons say that their father had lately been in conflict with a local councilor from Partidul Nostru, Ion Duca.
In May, Duca accused the mayor of intending to open a hazardous waste processing center in Sângera.
A month later, he accused the mayor of intending to authorize the opening of a landfill in the locality. And last month, in a post on facebook, the counselor came up with other charges against the mayor.
This time it was accusations that the mayor concluded a contract for the provision of legal services by means of which he damaged the local budget by 20,000 lei.
Every time the councilor was accusing him, the former mayor urged the locals not to believe in the petty political games that the counselor played.
"No one heard the shot. The neighbor who lives nearby did not hear the shot, my cousin living in the same courtyard as me who usually leaves the door ajar did not hear the shot," said the former mayor's son from Sângera, Ştefan Lari.
"The bullet was never found, only the cartridge was found," said the other son of the former mayor of Sângera, Nichita Lari.
The councilor Ion Duca has not commented on this situation yet. The Mayor of Sângera was found deadly shot on the doorstep of his home at the end of July. Among the first version of the police was that he had committed suicide.
