Four landing strips for SMURD choppers and two emergency departments will be created in Moldova
Four landing strips for SMURD choppers and two emergency departments will be created in Moldova. This was agreed between the chief of Emergency Situations Service of Moldova, Mihail Harabagiu, and his Romanian counterpart, Raed Arafat.
The cross-border project costs 10 million euro and will be implemented until 2020. It also foresees the fact that Moldova will also receive 10 ambulances and four extrication trucks.
The two officials also agreed that the SMURD choppers to intervene in risky situations in places where accidents took place, not only in special places.
