Four victims of communist oppression will receive 390 thousand lei compensation. Such a decision was taken by the Cabinet of Ministers. Two persons from Rascani district will receive over 160 thousand lei and two from Rezina 225 thousand lei.

Every year, the Government pays compensations to the victims of the Soviet repression. If the value of the goods the Sovites took was lower than 200 thousand lei, then the compensation is paid within three years, it it is bigger, then the sum is paid within five years.

In 2019, the state budget allocated six million lei to pay the compensations.
