A defendant of Balti Penitentiary was convicted for fraud of high proportions, committed behind the bars.

According to the evidences, in June, 2016, the man was imprisoned for a similar fraud. The man lied to a woman he recently met and asked her for a sum of money that would have helped him to get our of jail. Thus, victim's father had musical instruments and the defendant convinced the woman to tell her father give the instruments to a certain person. After the victim understood she lost her stuff, she addressed to the police.

The 21 year old defendant recognized his guilt, he was convicted for three years in prison and the final punishment is 6 years behind the bars.

The sentence can be appealed.
