Our country ranks second in the CSI at the goods transporting in January 2018. According to the Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the increase is 37.2% over the same period last year. Moldovan trade companies have transported about 900 thousand tons of cargo.The highest increase among CSI countries was recorded by Armenia, 91.4%. Moldova is followed by Belarus, with a 19% increase, Russia by 2.7%, and Kyrgyzstan by 2%.
In contrast, in Tajikistan, the volume of goods transportation fell by 3.7% , and in Ukraine - by exactly 10.7%. In January 2018, the volume of freight traffic grew on average by 1.6% over the same period last year.
