Freight traffic grew up! Moldova ranks second among CSI countries

Our country ranks second in the CSI at the goods transporting in January 2018. According to the Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the increase is 37.2% over the same period last year. Moldovan trade companies have transported about 900 thousand tons of cargo.
The highest increase among CSI countries was recorded by Armenia, 91.4%. Moldova is followed by Belarus, with a 19% increase, Russia by 2.7%, and Kyrgyzstan by 2%.
In contrast, in Tajikistan, the volume of goods transportation fell by 3.7% , and in Ukraine - by exactly 10.7%. In January 2018, the volume of freight traffic grew on average by 1.6% over the same period last year.
