Friends say journalist Pavel Sheremet and his girlfriend were spied on
Close friends of journalist Pavlo Sheremet, who was killed today in Kyiv, said that recently he and his common-life wife Olena Prytula, head of Ukrainska Pravda, were allegedly spied upon by unidentified individuals, according to Ukrainian news outlet Novaya Gazeta.
The couple complained about being spied on in private conversations with the news agency.
The funeral will be held in Minsk, Belarus (where Sheremet was born). This was reported by the victim's mother.
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko instructed law enforcement agencies expeditiously conduct a full investigation of journalist Pavel Sheremet's death.
