Potholes have become bigger and more numerous on the Chisinau streets after the latest frost. It makes the life hard for the drivers who can’t help passing over them.

The hope the authorities will fill in the potholes as soon as possible in order not to make them spend money on fixing cars.

"The services will have first to assess the roads and then we’ll draft a plan to cover the potholes," said an official with the City Hall’s department responsible with roads. 50 tonnes of cold asphalt are prepared to be used in this respect.

In 2016, the Chişinău City Hall spent about $3 mn to maintain and fix roads.
