Fuel prices to go up, after Power Regulator posts upper limits
The prices of fuels will increase the coming two weeks. The Moldovan Energy Regulator (ANRE) has posted on its web page the following prices:
- Gasoline Premium-95 – 16.25 lei/l
- Diesel fuel - 14.35 lei/l.
- Liquefied gas - 7.29 lei/l.
A US dollar is about 20 Moldovan lei.
It’s for the second time that ANRE sets the upper limit of the fuel prices, after it started to enact a new methodology in May.
The Power Regulator takes into consideration the oil price fluctuations on the world markets, in setting the upper limits, as the fuel retailers are obliged not to exceed them.
