Gaburici about selling agreement of Vestmoldtransgaz: This is a win-win situation for everybody
The selling-purchasing agreement of Vestmoldtransgaz company by Transgaz Romanian company was finished.
In this sense, Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy signed a contract with Danut Andrusca, his Romanian colleague and Transgaz leaders.
At the same time, Pavel Filip requested to start building the pipe as soon as possible.
After the contract was signed, the state budget indexed 180 million lei. Transgaz company from Romania assumed the obligation to finish the building of the gas pipe-line till the end of 2019.
"The visit of Danut Andrusca is made to finish the agreement.
We worked hard to make this agreement. The teams of the minister from Chisinau and the Romanian authorities worked hard for us to be able to confirm all the conditions of the selling-purchasing agreement.
Especially, Eurotransgaz confirmed their intention to assume the obligation to build Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipe line, till the end of 2019 and invest 90 million Euro.
We can certainly say that we made a great step to start building a great infrastructure project.
Moreover, Ungheni-Chisinau pipeline will allow the national authorities to realize one of their priority targets, to provide the energetic security.
What about the impact and the results of this effort, I want to say that we achieved these results due to the Bucharest partners", said Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
The Romanian Minister of Economy said that the energetic politics of the EU depends on the Romanian and the one of Moldova.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is an important day, because we assist at an important event in the history of Moldova and Romania. The privatization was an important decision taken by Moldova and a great responsibility for Romania.
This is how the Republic of Moldova provides its access to the EU energetic market. At the same time, Romania proves a successful partnership.
The relationship between Moldova and Romania was strengthened due to this project.
It is already the third such decision since I am the minister of Economy. I still have a lot to do. I am proud and happy that I can share this happiness with Mr. Gaburici. Mr. Minister, thank you", said Danut Andrusca, the Romania Minister of Economy.
The officials also held a meeting with Pavel Filip. The chief of the Cabinet of Ministers thanked them for their efforts and said that Transgaz will offer the required support to Moldova, to start an auction as soon as possible.
The prime minister mentioned that this gas pipe will provide the energetic independence to our country. The gas pipe line will be 120 kilometers long and a capacity to transport 1,5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Romania to Moldova.
