On the Eve of the World Women Day, there was organized a gala of the successful women from Briceni. The woman who achieved success in certain spheres were awarded. At the event there were present Marian Lupu and Valentina Stratan, PDM deputies.

Nine women were awarded. Valentina Melniciuc, the director of the Health Center from Lipcani town is one of the women who received prizes.

"My daughter asks me: "Mom, are you going to work during the night for your whole life? She was missing me very often. Both my daughter and husband helped me to be dedicated to my job", mentioned Valentina Melniciuc.

The best pupil from the district was also awarded. This year, the student from Sirauti gained three awards at the district Olympiad of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.

"My brother is an example for me. He gained the first place at the Republic Olympiad of Physics", said Onorina Barbalat.

"Other countries have natural resources, while we have great women. We decided to award them, because they are worth it", said Mihail Gnatiuc, the President of Briceni district. 

Marian Lupu and Valentina Stratan congratulated the women present at the event.

"I wish you health and to be surrounded by the people you love, every day. Only these ingredients make our live better", said Marian Lupu, PDM deputy.

"Within 22 years of politic and parliamentary activity I have known thousand of women. I admired their professional activity. I also appreciated the woman mayors of some villages", said Valentina Stratan, PDM deputy.

At the end of the gala, the woman enjoyed a concert.
