Two men aged 28 and 31 have been arrested on robbery charges. According to the data provided by the investigation officers, the suspects broke into a block of flats located on Musatinilor street. They have stolen electrical cable worth more than 100 000 lei.

The thieves were caught by surveillance cameras installed in the building yard.

During the investigation procedures the policemen also found that these suspects were involved in 6 other robbery cases.   

Now they are in police custody, under the theft prosecution. The defendants risk a punished by imprisonment for a term from 7 to 12 years.

Lately, the Police Directorate of Chisinau increased the activities to combat and prevent property crimes.
