The magistrates across the country are meeting today in the General Assembly of Judges.

They are expected to solve many organizational problems.

Specifically, they will elect new members to the College of judicial performance evaluation. A new composition might also have the College of Selection and Career of Judges and the Disciplinary Board.

All these structures are related to the Superior Council of Magistracy.

Their goal is to objectively select candidates for the position of judge and monitor their activity.

In Moldova there are over 400 magistrates.
