Gheorghe Petic, accused of beating and raping a woman from Ungheni, was registered as a candidate on the national list of the block formed by PAS and PPDA. Petic is 33rd in the binomial list, being proposed by the Party of Dignity and Truth, whose leader is Andrei Nastase. Actually, Petic is arrested, but the court may change the preventive measure if the accused gets involved in the election campaign.

"Gheorghe Petic submitted personally to the Commission the biographical data and declaration of personal wealth and interests, as well as the declaration of consent to apply for the position of deputy. It was found that the submitted documents correspond to the provisions of the Electoral Code".

Including Gheorghe Petic's PAS-PPDA block list, accused of violating a 31 years old from Ungheni, appears to be one of the most scandalous decisions of leaders Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase.
