Republica Moldova will obtain 15,8 million euros in the following two years from the Global Fund of Fighting Against SIDA, Tuberculosis and Malaria. For the HIV/SIDA, the funding provided 7,1 million euros and 8,7 million euros for tuberculosis, informs IPN.
According to a press release of the Health, Labor and Social Protection Ministry, there will be funded the activities included in the national programs for the prophylaxis and control of tuberculosis and HIV infection for 2016-2020 years.
Republic of Moldova has already requested to continue the Global Fund grant that targets to prevent and control TB and HIV / AIDS since the beginning of 2017.
Starting with 2003, the Global Fund gave Moldova 115 million USD to support the national programs for the control of tuberculosis and HIV/SIDA, writes adevarul.ro.
