Pensions will increase by 6.6% starting April 1. The Government will examine today a project, according to which over 500 000 elders will receive additional 96 lei to their pensions.

Starting next month, the minimum pension will be of 1025 lei. At the same time, 126 000 people with disabilities will receive additional 76 lei. Survivors' pensions will also increase by 50 lei and by a little over 200 lei for Chernobyl liquidators. 

The Government will also approve today a project to recalculate pensions for people who retired between 2012 - 2017. On average, pensions will increase by 300 lei.
