Good news for pupils of lyceum from Taraclia. They will move to a new school
The pupils of Stefan cel Mare Lyceum from Taraclia village, Causeni district will benefit of better studying conditions. Now, they will move to the building of the former professional development school building. The authorities allocated 8 million lei in this sense.
Now, the pupils will no longer hustle in the old classrooms.
Last year, one of the school's three buildings was closed after the ceiling fell down.
The pupils can't wait to move to the new school:
"We need a hall where we will do all the celebrations and parties and also we need a sports hall."
"I hope we will have a bigger school."
The renovation works will be finished this month.
"Until the end of the month, the project will be verified at the Institute of Buildings Checking. We also want to replace the old windows, heating system, lightening system, the doors and the roof", said Vladimir Cucereavii, the mayor of Taraclia village, Causeni district.
"We allocated 8 million lei for this project. So now, the school will fit all the requirements", declared Nicolae Gorban, the president of Causeni district.
The school was built 70 years ago. Firstly, it was a carpets factory. Since then, it was never repaired.
