Good news! A range of emergency drugs will be offered free of charge to all categories of citizens. The state will fully compensate 100% for an essential medicine for the most widespread diseases. The statement was made today by the President of DPM, Vlad Plahotniuc at the weekly party meeting.

"In addition to these projects, we also have a positive newsletter or a project with immediate effect related to compensated medicines. When we took over the government in 2016, the list of partially compensated medicines contained about 80 types of medicinal substances. increased the number of medications compensated for over 80 to 150 types of medicinal substances, and we also ensured the free delivery of prescription medicines to all children under the age of 18 years.

In addition, in today's meeting, what we have decided, as a string of emergency medicines, is offered free of charge to all categories of citizens, and we have been able to implement this measure as early as February. More specifically, we have decided that for each of the most widespread and high-risk illnesses there is at least one essential medicine to be offered absolutely free, that is to say 100% of the state's compensation.

I asked the Health Ministry to hold a press conference on the subject, to give the necessary explanations about the list of free preparations and to ensure that pharmacies offer these preparations to citizens when they present their prescriptions free of charge.
