"Good roads for Moldova 2" program was a subject

The initiation of the process of collecting proposals on the road sectors will be included in the Governmental Program "Good roads for Moldova". Gasification, water supply of localities, electricity supply, attracting investments in rural areas - these were some of the topics discussed today with the inhabitants and local public authorities in Straseni district during the working visit of the members of the Government in the territory.
During the talks, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, and the state secretaries answered the questions regarding the road infrastructure, the transport, the development of small and medium business, as well as the subject about opening of new job places.
Representatives of the local authorities pointed out the urgent needing of redesign road construction from the entrance to Straseni, motivating that the surface of the road deteriorates because of the underground water and the sludge from the Bac River. In this context, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure mentioned that "The latest redesign solutions have been approved and implemented since September this year. Already working near Lake Ghidighici, the same solution will be used on the road from Straseni. We plan to complete it in the first months of next year", said the Minister.
At the same time, the citizens expressed their satisfaction with the launching of the data collection process for the elaboration of the project "Good roads 2 for Moldova". Reasoning that this project has great utility to citizens, and road rehabilitation will boost the economy not only in Straseni district but also in the region.
During the visit to the territory, the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure continued the dialogue with the inhabitants of Chirianca and Tataresti villages. Among the topics enunciated by the locals are the provision of public transport of passengers, the water supply of localities, as well as their gasification. The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure team spoke to citizens about state support programs for business start-ups and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. They also encouraged residents of Straseni district to invest at home.
